Walensee, Walenstadt, April 2024

Lake Walen is located in the Swiss Alps in the cantons of St. Gallen and Glarus. A beautiful lake in a narrow mountain valley. That’s what I always think when I go there: A beautiful piece of landscape, this Walensee.
Somehow, I really like Lake Walen. It’s undoubtedly a place I will return to time and again. For hiking, to enjoy the tranquility, or to swim in the cool water. And above all, to stand before the Seerenbach Falls again and again.
