Sunflowers in a Vase

The painting is inspired by the works of the 19th-century Dutch artist Gerardina Jacoba van de Sande Bakhuyzen, whose creations are a source of admiration and inspiration. In my work, I aimed to capture the warmth of a blazing summer as much as possible. Flowers are the perfect subject for still life. They represent Life at the peak of its happiness… they are nature’s fireworks.
